Half the Sky is proud of what we are able to accomplish for China’s orphaned children within a tight budget. Despite limited resources, we employ more than1000 local workers around the country!
We have taken great care to ensure our administrative costs are minimized by maintaining all of our non-fundraising operations in China where costs are still relatively low.

Half the Sky Foundation was incorporated in California in 1998 as a nonprofit, tax exempt corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our tax ID is 95-4714047.
