The Grand Canal of China runs through Gaoyou, where Half the Sky established a Children’s Center in 2005. The Canal and the Great Wall are considered the two most impressive engineering feats of ancient China. Today the canal is a busy waterway used to transport gravel and other goods for China’s fast-growing economy.

Lily's Forever Family
It is very obvious that the staff at China Care Home worked hard to care for Lily before we brought her home and gave her a lot of attention and care. Lily is very sweet and loving. We still have concerns about her health, but we’re taking it one step at a time. >>>
