When traveling by boat to Jiujiang, where Half the Sky opened a Children’s Center in 2004, Suojiang Tower is the first landmark you see when you enter the city. Suojiang Tower was first built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) to protect the low-lying city from floods.
